Sponsor an Animal
“Paws Toward Home” was created for two reasons: to decrease an animal’s length of stay by having their adoption fee sponsored, and to cover transport & quarantine fees of dogs from overcrowded shelters in the south. Sponsor an animal to help them find their home!

Volunteer with Us
Volunteer opportunities include direct animal care and cleaning, dog walking, transportation, and more! We consider applicants aged 18 and up.

Donation Drop Off
Our dedicated team is at the shelter everyday taking care of our animals. Donations may be left at the main entrance of the shelter any day between 9am-5pm, located at 1300 West Elm St. Extension, Brockton, MA 02301.

Baking for Paws
On the second weekend of every month, the APCSM holds our famous Bake Sale. We always need extra support - whether it’s dropping off baked goods or donating grocery store gift cards, you contribution will benefit animals in need!

Life is Precious
Life Is Precious is our fund dedicated to treating the medical needs of animals that come into our care. These needs can range from a kitten with a broken paw to a dog with a ruptured spinal disc. In 2024 alone, we spent over $40,000 on medical care beyond routine treatments. This means your support is needed more than ever for our pets requiring emergency medical attention.

Animal-Friendly License Plates: Help Fund Spay/Neuter Programs Across Massachusetts
Sales of the “I’m Animal Friendly” license plate support spay and neuter services for cats, dogs, and rabbits. The Mass Animal Coalition has helped shelters like ours through the sales of these license plates. You can order the plate at anytime as long as your registration is in good standing.
